The Niagara Falls International Marathon was formerly known as Skylon Marathon. With expos, marathons and fun races, the Niagara Falls International Marathon has become a popular event since its beginning in 1974. The Niagara Falls International Marathon is a Boston Qualifier. Cutoffs: Runners MUST reach the Half Marathon timing mat (21.1 k/13.1 m) by 12:30 p.m. Runners arriving after 12:30 p.m. will receive a Half Marathon medal & bussed back to the Finish Line

The Niagara Falls International Marathon celebrated its inaugural running in 1974. The race was known as the Skylon Marathon. Shuttle to Start: 7:00 a.m. – 7:30 a.m. Crowne Plaze 5685 Falls Avenue, Niagara Falls. Passport required to board. Parking at Sheraton on the Falls with shuttles from finish line back to hotel. A clear plastic bag will be issued at Kit Pickup to leave goods/passport (optional) on shuttle bus & retrieve at Finish Line

4. I-94 entry document PRIOR to race day available from U.S. Customs. Participants must obtain this form IN PERSON from the Rainbow Bridge (91-109 Rainbow Bridge, Niagara Falls, NY 14303). You can walk across the Rainbow Bridge from most hotels in downtown Niagara Falls, Canada.

5. Other documents based on your legal status. Please be aware that there are many different legal status, e.g. Green Card, Student Visa etc. that require documentation to cross the Canadian/U.S. border. It is the responsibility of the runner to verify their documentation needs. Please consult an immigration lawyer or the U.S. and Canadian Customs websites to ensure you are adequately prepared for race day

Finishes right at the brink of the Horseshoe Falls in Niagara Falls, Canada

First 4 miles meander through quaint neighbourhoods in downtown Buffalo before the EPIC crossing of the Peace Bridge from the United States into Canada. The course then winds along the scenic Niagara Parkway, following the Niagara River. While it can be windy, the views are majestic of both the river & the mansions that line the route

With expos, marathons and fun races, the Niagara Falls International Marathon has become a popular event since its beginning in 1974.

The Niagara Falls International Marathon is a Boston Qualifier. The Marathon starts by the Albright-Knox in Buffalo, NY. The route then follows the beautiful Buffalo parkways and Niagara River Parkway and finishes in Niagara Falls, Ontario. It is the only known marathon in the world that begins and ends in different countries.
