Naming a Royal Flush is an anachronism that really doesn't follow the rest of the ranking rules for poker hands. It is a redundancy that has somehow crept into poker parlance and it remains there primarily because people like the sound of it.

• Royal Flush is a solitaire card game which is played with a deck of 52 playing cards. The game is so called because the aim of the game is to end up with a royal flush of any suit. The game is so much mechanical in nature that there is currently no digital implementation.
